Abhyanga is an ancient Indian Ayurvedic oil massage treatment - Ayurvedic detox and stress reduction therapy performed by herbal oils. It incorporates an aromatic combination of oils prepared with herbs warmed and blended to your Dosha type. A variety of strokes and techniques is applied to work along the energy channels of your body in a synchronized manner to restore the flow of vital energy, Prana, where it has become blocked. Lymphatic massage treatment with oils help squeeze out toxic accumulation from channels.

Saravanga Abhyanga encourages gentle cleansing and supports self-healing. This cleansing, self-healing Ayurvedic Indian oil massage treatment is followed by a steam treatment (Bashpaswedanam) for further detoxification and absorption of the oils.

Every oil therapy treatment uses USDA organic oils and herbs which are carefully selected and customized for you. These herbal infused oils focus on detoxifying your body and eliminating the stored-up cellular waste which precipitate disease.

Abhyanga Herbal Oil Therapy

Abhyanga is an Ayurvedic external treatment where one or two therapists (signature therapy) use aromatic herbal oils to bring balance to the body.  Abhyanga differs from many Western massage techniques. It is a treatment meant to nourish the body with touch and rich warmed oil, and certainly promotes healthy circulation and joints.
