Yoga and Meditation
One of the Ayurvedic tools to help reduce toxins that have accumulated in your body is yoga - a sister science of Ayurveda. It’s an excellent exercise and spiritual practice for balancing your individual constitution.
According to Ayurveda, the manner in which yoga is defined and performed depends on your Dosha. For each Dosha, there are specific yoga poses along with corresponding breathing techniques which helps to restore your balance and well-being.
Mantras are used to center your mind and still your body at the beginning of a practice. The relaxation and meditation periods at the end of yoga are performed using muscle-relaxing techniques and visualizations specific for a given Dosha. An out-of-balance Dosha can be restored and toxins can be removed from your body if you learn what and how to perform a routine practice for your Dosha.
Duration and Cost of Yoga and Meditation Therapy
Ayurveda Wellness Center & Holistic Spa offers private yoga sessions tailored to your specific dosha requirements. We encourage you to take 2-3 sessions to learn the practice according to your Dosha and then continue with home practice.
